• WILL THERE BE FIRST AID / SECURITY AVAILABLE AT THE FESTIVAL?

We take the safety and security of our attendees extremely seriously. We understand that an outdoor winter festival introduces a host of additional safety issues that our staff must be mindful of. For the entirety of the festival, we have support from the South Lake Tahoe Police Department as well as hired security and health care professionals. Additionally, medical stations will be clearly marked at the festival.

• THIS IS MY FIRST TIME ATTENDING ... WHAT SHOULD I BE PACKING?

It's difficult to anticipate what the weather will be like. We've had years where the festival grounds are covered in snow and years where its been extremely warm. We suggest packing a multitude of layers so you're prepared for any possible weather outcome. Waterproof boots, wool socks, beanies, gloves and a warm jacket are a must.

Peep this handy video for packing advice straight from the mouths of the #SGFam:

• WILL THERE BE ATMS AT THE FESTIVAL?

Yes -- ATMs can be found next to all bars, food vendors and merchandise areas around the festival site.

• CAN I CAMP?

No. Way too cold!

• IS THE ENTIRE FESTIVAL OUTDOORS? WILL BE THERE HEATERS?

Yes. The Main Stage and the majority of the festival experience is outdoors but there are a number of enclosed, heated areas dispersed throughout the site. The Igloo -- one of our three primary stages -- is completely contained and get very warm during sets. Our bars are all enclosed and heated with room to sit down and take a break from the cold. A complete site map with markers indicating heated areas will be available as the festival approaches.
